Disney's Polynesian Village Resort welcomes a lush transformation with the addition of grass, trees, and vibrant foliage around its new roadway entrance. The entrance, located off Floridian Way, boasts a newly paved sidewalk that gracefully connects to existing pathways and crosswalks, leading up to the lobby building's curb. This upgrade not only enhances the resort's aesthetic appeal but also introduces a more organized and inviting entrance.
The construction site showcases a thoughtful layout. On the left side, facing the Great Ceremonial House, a ramp has been painted to create parking spots adjacent to the sidewalk. In the center, a central pathway adorned with grass meanders through flowerbeds, with a few trees strategically placed for added charm. The right side features a freshly repaved and painted parking area, complete with designated parking spaces and curbs, while a dirt patch near the Great Ceremonial House awaits the arrival of future greenery.
This new entrance will significantly improve accessibility, as it is more directly in front of the Great Ceremonial Entrance compared to the current Seven Seas Drive entrance, which will be designated for bus-only access. The resort's ongoing development promises an enhanced guest experience, blending natural beauty with efficient transportation.
