In a surprising move, Lilliana Krstolic, a rising swimming star, has decided to accelerate her academic and athletic journey by reclassifying from the class of 2027 to 2026. But here's the twist: she's committed to the University of Georgia, joining a powerhouse team a year earlier than expected.

Krstolic, a talented swimmer from Windermere, Florida, will be making waves in Athens, Georgia, starting fall 2026. Originally a 'Best of the Rest' recruit for the class of 2027, she's now set to join an impressive cohort of 2030 recruits at Georgia.
Her announcement was filled with gratitude: "I'm overjoyed to sign with the University of Georgia for my studies and swimming. I'm thankful for my blessings and the support of my loved ones. There's a special charm about the South. Go Dawgs, Sic 'em!"
Krstolic is a standout at LAKR Swim Club and Windermere High School, sharing the pool with Rylee Erisman, the #2 recruit for 2027. Both swimmers have reclassified to graduate in 2026, with Erisman committing to Cal last month.
At the recent FHSAA Class 4A State Championship, Krstolic showcased her talent, contributing to Windermere's 2nd-place finish. She delivered a remarkable 24.63 50 butterfly split and a 51.58 lead-off split in the 400 free relay, both securing state titles. Her lead-off split was a personal record in the 100 free.
Individually, Krstolic also excelled, achieving lifetime bests in the 500 free (4:51.05) and 100 fly (55.21). Her impressive SCY times include a 16:40.74 in the 1650 free, 1:49.46 in the 200 free, and 1:59.83 in the 200 fly.
The Georgia women's team, known for their mid-distance and distance freestyle prowess, placed 4th at the 2025 SEC Championships. With the departure of senior leader Dune Coetzee, Krstolic's arrival will be pivotal. Scoring at the SECs in the 1650 and 500 free events required times of 16:26.40 and 4:44.88, respectively, in 2025. This year, Kennedi Dobson leads the team with impressive times of 4:33.61 and 15:47.61 in the 500 and 1650 free.
Krstolic will join a stellar 2030 class at Georgia, including top-ranked recruits Virginia Hinds (#13) and Maya Schweikert (#20), along with other highly regarded swimmers.
