NEW Star Wars Merchandise at Disneyland! Rise of the Resistance Hats & Lightsaber Countdown! (2026)

Two Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Gear Debuts at Disneyland

Fans can proudly display their favorite attraction with two new Rise of the Resistance ball caps and a 12-day lightsaber countdown calendar now at Disneyland. We spotted the items in two different shops: the gray and blue ball caps were found at Downtown Disney’s Star Wars Trading Post and Disneyland Park’s Resistance Supply, respectively, while the 12-day miniature Lightsaber Hilt Countdown Calendar was located in Oga’s Cantina.

Gray Rise of the Resistance Ball Cap – $32.99
This cap echoes an opening-day piece from the Rise of the Resistance merchandise line. It features a gray, weathered finish, embroidered eyelets, and a top button, with the title "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance" stitched in red across the front. The Imperial insignia appears on the side.

Blue Rise of the Resistance Ball Cap – $32.99
The second cap brings a blue, white, and orange color scheme. It showcases a braided rope band over the flat brim and a central orange patch with white "Rise of the Resistance" lettering. An orange adjustable strap at the back helps secure the fit. This version was found in Disneyland Park.

Miniature Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Countdown Calendar – $99.99
Available at Oga’s Cantina, this set includes 12 individual display crates, each holding a lightsaber hilt for a 12-day countdown. Each crate has a clear front and accompanying information card, and the crates can be linked together for a larger display. The lineup features iconic hilts from Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Ben Solo, Kylo Ren, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Rey, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Online stock shows sold out, so visiting the park is the best option if you’re hoping to snag one.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance—ride context

Rise of the Resistance opened in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in January 2020, inviting guests to join Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Kylo Ren as they attempt a daring escape from Batuu with the Resistance and end up entangled with the First Order. A separate version of the ride operates at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.

Note on ride effects

The ride’s cannon effects have had a mixed history: some weren’t functioning for years, but Disneyland’s cannons have since been restored. The Florida version still experiences ongoing issues with those effects. Disneyland will undergo a refurbishment of Rise of the Resistance, scheduled to begin in January.
