To ensure the safety of our employees and yours, and that of our customers and communities, all activities on CSX property must be scheduled with CSX. CSX requires advance notice to schedule any activity. Scheduling is contingent upon numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the availability of flagging and inspection services (if required).
To schedule work activities or access, you must have received all approvals to enter CSX property.
Please note - for new facilities/modification to existing facilities, once a permit/agreement has executed, an email notification containing a special reference number and link to the CSX Property Outside Party Request Form application will be provided.
The special reference number does not need to be included on the Outside Party Request Form for minor inspection/maintenance activities of existing facilities or when replacing existing facilities with like-kind facilities.
No activity is permitted without written confirmation. Entering any railroad right of way or other railroad property without the permission of the railroad is trespassing and illegal. Violators will be prosecuted, and risk the possibility of serious, even fatal, injury.
CSX is aware of an issue with the Property Portal affecting users and the issue should be resolved soon. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while this is resolved!!
